Abstract

The Autism traits lie on a continuum of social-communication disability. The aim of the present study was the comparison of personality profile between students with high and low AUTISM SPECTRUM TRAITS at Yazd University. A comparative method was used. The Participants included 132 (82 female, 50 male) with high and 140 (73 female, 67 male) with low AUTISM SPECTRUM TRAITS who selected with randomly multistage method. The instruments used in this study were: MMPI-2 and Autism Spectrum Quotient, The result of a Manova (f=37.16, p<0.001) showed that, there is at least, a significant relationship between variables. The students with high autistic traits had higher scores (p<0.001) than students with low Autistic Traits in all of the clinical scales except Hysteria and Hypomania Scales.
