Abstract

Multiple applications and saffron abundant and diverse medicinal properties and uses its food and most importantly a major role in the lives of farmers in Central and South in Khorasan Pay special attention to the problems of production and its role in the development of rural areas, saffron and more clear. Therefore, in this study need to review the role of saffron production on a sense of belonging among rural households in rural areas has been Roshtkhar. Descriptive-analytical research method is based on a questionnaire. The data using simple random sampling of 160 households in 12 villages have been obtained in Roshtkhar District. To analyze the data of one-sample t test, regression, linear regression and path analysis were used. The results show the positive impact of saffron cultivation on four dimensions of place among the households in the study area. The results of the analysis of data based on regression analysis, linear regression and path analysis shows that Most saffron cultivation overall effect on the economy. So that the amount of savings income and rural households in the study area has increased, The household employment for rural women's employment, Economic diversification and job there, The area under cultivation in villages in this region has increased at an acceptable level that Which in turn increases the level of well-being and empowerment of families and consequently enhances the sense of place among rural households, and psychological dimension with the lowest overall impact on the sense of place among the households in the study area had.
