Abstract

Anomalies in various formats such as theft, drug abuse, runaways, prostitution... the result are of divorce, parental conflict, family conflict, and so, have emerged in the community. One Anomalies tendency to destroy public property and in other words behavior is VANDALISM. Occurrence of excessive abusive behavior in urban environments is not only inconsistent with certain principles of social order but with the heavy emotional and financial losses has for the citizens. This research examined the relationship between the quality of the urban environment and abusive behavior has been studied in MASHHAD CITY. Therefore the VANDALISM behaviors and identify the factors affecting the quality of the urban environment, required data using questionnaires were collected from the study areas. Then, using the statistical software SPSS and data analysis was performed. The results showed that the study areas with different levels of environmental quality are VANDALISM behaviors. So that Zone 11 has the highest quality of urban environment and the least VANDALISM behavior and Zone 4 due to the low environmental quality is the highest level of abusive behavior. The results showed that Addition to being a significant negative relationship between age and education and there is VANDALISM behavior; Inverse relationship between the incidence of abusive behavior and the quality of the urban environment. This means that the higher the quality of the urban environment is a lower incidence VANDALISM behavior.
