Abstract

QUALITY OF LIFE, as one of the most important terms and indicators related to well-being and social welfare, is the main development achievement as well as its requirement so that the common goal of development at all levels is improvement of human life quality. The future of human being is also based on a better understanding of the factors that affect the human life quality. Aim of this study is to measure the life quality level among urban HOUSEHOLDERs in Dezful city with an emphasis on the effects of quantitative SOCIAL WELFARE INDEX. To do this, the following people’s theories are used: Ferrell, Hasy Dow, Diop, Brown, Wolff Kong Zaf, Hornkwist, France, Zhan, W Baaske, and R. Sulzbacher. World Health Organization theory and its inventory are used to measure the QUALITY OF LIFE. This research was conducted in survey method and to collect data questionnaires were used. Its population includes urban HOUSEHOLDER in Dezful city. This research revealed that the majority of this sample have moderate life quality and was also identified that variables such as income, level of education, health, leisure, housing of urban HOUSEHOLDER in Dezful city impact on their life quality.
