Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of GROUP LOGOTHERAPY WITH ISLAMIC APPROACH on PURPOSE IN LIFE among WOMEN REFERRING TO COUNSELING CENTERS in the city of Isfahan in 2013; thus, 4 counseling centers were selected by convenience sampling.30 WOMEN REFERRING TO COUNSELING CENTERS were volunteer to participate in this program. They were randomly placed in two groups of test (15 women) and control (15 women). The test group received 8 sessions of counseling for logotherapy with Islamic approach. The Ryff's psychological well-being questionnaire as the research tool was completed during pre-test, post-test, and follow-up phases. The results of analysis of variance withrepeated measure showed that the average of scores of PURPOSE IN LIFE in test group has meaningfully increased in comparison with control group in post-test and follow-up phases (P<0.001). The total results showed that GROUP LOGOTHERAPY WITH ISLAMIC APPROACH effects on PURPOSE IN LIFE. Therefore, educating GROUP LOGOTHERAPY WITH ISLAMIC APPROACH as an educational and interventional approach can increase PURPOSE IN LIFE.
