Abstract

This study intends to investigate the necessity and importance of education in the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with SWOT model, to provide effective strategies for of education system in IRANIAN RED CRESCENT. For this purpose, a number of experts were interviewed and then determined appropriate strategies in four categories SO, ST, WO, WT. Then, the quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) was used to select the best strategy for developing the education system in the Red Crescent Society. To determine the weight of SWOT factors, a questionnaire based on Likert scale was developed and completed by some organizational experts. The results of the research show that conservative strategies are the most appropriate strategies for the development of the education system. The strategy of "Establishing a Planning and Educational Management System in the Population" with a score of 6.02 was proposed as the best strategy.
