Abstract

In the present article, two-dimensional Lagrange model with Moving Particle Semi-Implicit (MPS) method are applied for modelling WAVE problems and hitting marine structures. For applying the model to the viscous flow, it would be necessary to consider the turbulence effect. For this purpose, the constant eddy viscosity must be used. The comparison of the results of the numerical model with laboratory and numerical data reveals the increase of model ability in estimating the water level especially compared with other non-viscous models. Also, unlike other LANGRAGE models, the pressure field is well calculated.
