Abstract

The purpose of the present research is to estimate the SEDIMENTation rate in NOWSHAHR PORT pond using MIKE 2121 software. First, all the needed data were collected; then the approximate rate of SEDIMENTs during the recent years was estimated using mathematical model and the results were compared with the results of field measurements.After that, the SEDIMENTation rate is forecasted for the future years which results in a regular dredging plan. The results of the present research may be applied for presenting plans for decreasing the SEDIMENT in pond of NOWSHAHR PORT.
