Abstract

Impact of Islamic Revolution in Iran on Geometry of Power in West Asia (Case study: Islamic Resistance) Abstract The main question raised in this paper will be that how has Islamic Revolution affected Geometry of Power in West Asia? The author believes Islamic Republic of Iran according to principles and structures of the revolution has affected transformation of Islamic Resistance through three ways in West Asia. First, Iran has strengthened the foundations of resistance in Lebanon. Iran also has supported Islamic movements in the region, such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad movement. Second, the Islamic Republic of Iran has tried to unite movements and NGOs to counter the Neo-conservatism in West Asia. Third, values and fundamental belief in the Islamic Revolution discourse has created a huge revolution in the field of Islamic Resistance.
