Abstract

. The present study has been conducted to both subjectively and objectively investigate the Satisfaction rate of residents of Tohid Town in Sabzevar with regard to various components affecting the living environment/conditions and to recognize the influential indexes/indicators of the quality of urban environment. The participants of the study were 374 persons and the sampling procedure has been estimated by using Cochran. the research these categories were further subdivided into three aspects: environmental quality, environmental quality and environmental quality. In addition, in order to complement the analysis of data and to pictorially present the results, the use was made of software in GIS environment and the findings are presented in the form of maps. The findings of the study revealed that the Satisfaction rate from the viewpoints of the residents of Tohid town based on the factor analysis and in subjective aspect with the value of 56/97 is higher than objective aspect which has the value of 46/75. The results obtained based on Pearson correlation indicate that there is a significant relationship between the nine dimensions identified by the factor analysis procedure. The highest rate of Satisfaction refers to the structural and environmental indices with. /577 and the lowest rate is related to social pathology index. In addition, based on the environmental quality map (the standardized Z score), the objective aspect has the lowest Satisfaction rate with 2/37 and the subjective aspect with 3/36. On the whole, the quality has a moderate rate with 3/47.
