Abstract

 Puroose: The present research was conducted with the aim of the Effectiveness of critical thinking Training on problem solving methods in Students of Islamic Azad University, North Tehran Branch in 1396. Method: The research was practical in terms of objectives and Semi-experimental, pre-test and post-test design with control and follow-up group in terms of data collection method. the population consisted of 60 male and female undergraduate Students were selected using sampling method and matched in two groups of 30 experimental and control groups. The experimental group received eight 90-minute sessions of critical thinking training, and the control group remained on the list. In the section of quantitative research, problem solving Questionnaire Cassidy & Lang (1996) were used to collect data. The collected data from the quantitative section were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics (covariance analysis and dependent t-test) and analyzed using SPSS-V22 software. Result: The results showed that the critical thinking model designed to solve problem-solving skills among Students was effective and its sustainability over time was also persistent. Conclution: the result is to combine of the Students abilitis and critical thinking, and problem solving leads. so it can be acknowledged that with the growth and progress of critical thinking as level and capabilities effects problem solving, also will be upgraded.
