Abstract

 Background and Aim: Promoting Organizational Identity is one of the main concerns of organizational behavior scholars. Therefore, this study investigates the impact of Transformational Leadership variables and organizational Social Responsibility on improving organizational identities. Method: The present study is applied in terms of the type of research and descriptive in terms of research purpose. The statistical population of the study consisted of employees of Shahid Sattari University of Aviation Sciences who were selected by stratified random sampling method. In this study, library and field method and Boss & Olio (2000) Transformational Leadership questionnaire, Cheney et al. (1983) Organizational Identity questionnaire, and Glavas & Kelly (2014) organizational Social Responsibility questionnaire were used for data collection. Findings: The results of the data analysis showed that Transformational Leadership has an impact on organizational Social Responsibility and Organizational Identity and also organizational Social Responsibility has an impact on Organizational Identity. Also, Transformational Leadership through organizational Social Responsibility improves Organizational Identity. Conclusion: Managers of the statistical society enhance the role of Social Responsibility of the organization by applying appropriate mechanisms. Also, developing leadership competencies should be a top priority in the organization's plans.
