Abstract

In this recent decade the world population increases with improving the health situation. Also people habits changed and cause that many person emigrate in the CITY and live in big CITY so in this resent year the main mount of the population of each country live in cities. The cities grown had many bad results for the ENVIRONMENT, such way that we can see for the preparing of people that live in cities, agricultures force use a lot of chemical fertilizer in their field that it is really harmful for the ENVIRONMENT. Also in some cases excessive use of water source cause they become dry. So the cities grow had many bad effect on ENVIRONMENT but we can’t forbid growing the cities so it’s better that we have a sustainable solution for SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. One of the sustainable ways for development that in recent year develop in the academic urbanism is URBAN AGRICULTURE. In this article at first we say some of the bad results of urban development on the ENVIRONMENT and then introduce some of the main parameters of URBAN AGRICULTURE and check that how URBAN AGRICULTURE can be a sustainable way for developing. In the last we check the ISFAHAN structure and the potential that are in this CITY for develop of URBAN AGRICULTURE.
