Abstract

Myths and mythical themes and archetypes in Persian Literature have long time history, and a considerable part of Iran’ s Literature has been made from it; through examination and profound knowing and precise investigation of such element, we can see its sacredness and its influence on human being’ s unconsciousness. Myths express hidden and unseen truths of life through observable phenomena, and they always which are seeable. They always recite facts which have logics behind themselves. In other words, we can see the past time and ancient time’ s realities behind the mask of Myths. The following study tries to define and express used Myths in Shamloo’ s Poetry for analyzing Myths, and manifest his Poetry’ s mythical aspects or dimensions.
