Abstract

One of the most important issues in international relations studies to investigate the causes and factors contributing to the development and maintenance of relationships between countries and in the history of international relations can be found in many cases that common threat, a great role in the formation of relationships they have formed an alliance and continuity. IRANian-Syrian relations after the Islamic Revolution, the kind of relations in the Middle East. Which can be common enemy in the expansion and consolidation of its role clearly observed, On the other hand, the nature of revolutionary Islam, the Islamic republic and the constitution drafting new rules led to a change in the principles and objectives of the Islamic Republic of IRAN's foreign policy and the revision of relations with other countries, particularly SYRIA followed, The relations before the Islamic Revolution can be seen in the context of relations between the United States of America and the Soviet superpower and regional divisions caused by the Cold War can be seen in the region. Thus, in the context of history and analysis in this study we sought to answer the question what factors in the development and maintenance of relations between IRAN and SYRIA from 1946 to 2011 has been effective? and delves discuss bilateral relations.
