Abstract

 Using multiple intelligence categories in school books in order to learn school lessons, has an increasing impact on learner's educational achievement. This research’ s goal is to analyze the content of the animal section in Biology book of the eleventh grade based on Multiple Intelligence Theory of Gardner. The method used in this research is Content analysis and Statistical population is all pages of animal section of 11’ th grade’ s book and we didn’ t use sampling in this research in Inferential statistics in order to have a significant test, we used chi-2 Statistical test and results of this study showed that there is a significant difference between Intelligence components in this section of the book, which is beneficial for verbal-linguistically intelligence. Also, the usage of intelligence components in Content presentation templates (text, images, and activities) are not same. We can conclude from results of this research that the components of intelligence are not equally used in the different chapters of the book.
