Abstract

Different layers of meaning and their referential multiplicity are among the most significant elements in divine texts. Such a style makes the readers look for new interpretations and clarifications. This makes the QUran source of theological understanding. However, this depends on having a thorough understanding of the Text and its SURFACE, TRANSFORMED, compressed, DEEP, POINTED, compared and ORIGINAL meanings. This paper discusses nature of these different layers of meanings. It also points out to the ways by which one can cultivate them.
