Abstract

Iran is a vast country with many rural areas and great agricultural potentials. A great proportion of workforces live in these areas and accordingly, agricultural products and their relate industries rank second after oil in terms of G.N.P. (Gross National Products) and providing foreign exchange. In 2005 a survey research was carried out in Sojasrod, Zanjan aiming at rural DEVELOPMENT based on constancy in AGRICULTURE. Population samples were farmers' family heads in Sojasrod, out of wnom 359 individuals were selected by stratified random sampling. A valid questionnaire with Cronbach a=0.85 was distributed and the resulting data was analyzed using SPSS software. The Pearson and Kendal correlation coefficient findings indicate that there is a meaningful relationship between the regional DEVELOPMENT and the variables related to natural, capital, level and farm managing, as well as structural and facilitative factors. There is a positive attitude towards the results of multivariate regression that is between AGRICULTURAL CONSTANCY and job-creation, per capita income and physical level of DEVELOPMENT in the region.
