Abstract

The preparation the educational facility for disabled children is one of the important duties of governments. From this point of view, overall principles of education and acceptance of disabled children in community different researches have been carried out, for example the research of Antia(1) and Lampropoulou (2) about school children but there is not any structured research about INCLUSIVE education in kindergarten level in Iran in spite of its importance. The aim of this research is to study the attitude of kindergarten teachers for INCLUSIVE education and the effects of their age, experience, marital status and education on this attitude. For this reason, a questionnaire with 19 questions was prepared and completed by 215 teachers of Tehran kindergartens which were selected by simple random methods. The results showed that 62.6 percent of teachers agree and 20.6 percent completely agree with INCLUSIVE education. By increasing the age and experience of the teachers the rate of agreement towards INCLUSIVE education decreased and marital status had not any effects on this agreement. Regarding the 83% agreement towards INCLUSIVE education between s elected teachers; the facilities and teaching programs should be prepared for normal kindergartens to accept the educated hearing-impaired children.
