Abstract

The "maqamat" are the subjects written with hypocrite prose. The author of this prose tries to write a story about beggary and to show his art of authority. The word, "maqama" means an assembly and the passel of folk sitting at it. At first, art was appeared in the tenth century A.D. by Hamadani. The subjects of maqamat are the stories of two brainchild heroes: Hareath Ibn Hammam and Abuzaidal-Saruji. The first stories are about Abuzaid's deceits and the last maqamats describe his testate to his boy and his contrition from the past wrongdoings. The Hariri's book contains fifty storiesw1ittenduring 1074 – 1083 A.D.
