Abstract

In the article, following a definition of SIRA "biography", it is remarked that SIRA looks to the type and manner of historical events. Thereare somedifferencesbetweenSIRA,"tarikh" "history"and MAGHAZI "battles". Then the goals or analysing SIRA are elaborated. Also its significant is mentioned, key role in appreciating the noble Islamic culture. It is posited that without analysingand understanding:the SIRA, gaining a knowledgeof Islamic teachingswill be impossible. To prove the thesis, a number of referencesare made to the Quran, history, and hadith, "tradition".
