Abstract

In the epoch marked by the primary characteristics of numerous changes and rapid transformations, there is also a need to expedite the process of making decisions. During these times, managers must choose the best way to cover various subjects in the least amount of time. INFORMATION must be the basis of these decisions, but the boundless quantities of mass INFORMATION may mislead us and cause us to analyze the INFORMATION as an obstructive element, or inaccurate INFORMATION may lead us to the creation of a faulty policy. By defining the applicable criteria and quantifying the qualities of various aspects of work may help us considerably in understanding our problems, determining our goals, and selecting the best methods to reach those goals. Thus, paying attention to these elements of decision - making is very important and can be a very useful tool in successful policy - making.
