Abstract

Two hundred skin samples were collected from right media side of RAIENI GOATs of 3 - 36 months of age. Tissue samples were fixed in 10 % formalin, sections were prepared by paraffin embedding and sectioned at 5 - 6 # thickness, and stained by H & E. The thickest parts were the dermis and deeper layer of connective tissue of skin, included HAIR FOLLICLES and sweat glands the primary and secondly follicles were identified, the primary follicles have large diamater. Bilobe sebaceous glands, sweat glands and erector muscle were observed. Unbanked sebaceous glands were observed in the secondary follicles in different age were counted. The result showed that there was correlation between the age and the number of primary and secondary follicles. That was increasing by age and the number of follicles decreased.
