Abstract

In the knowledge-based economy, INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL is known as a strategic asset for the organization performance. ETHICS is an important concept that its scope has been extended to all areas. So we can refer to the relationship between ETHICS and many concepts. ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE and INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL are among these concepts. Fewer studies have been done on the relationship between INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL and ETHICS. Hence in this paper, the influence of ETHICS and INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL on ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE has been studied. To measure INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL, Bontis model including indicators of human, structural and relational capital, was used. Also Yokel model was used for ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE measurement. The conceptual model was designed based on literature. using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) it was shown that there is a significant and positive relationship between ETHICS and ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE and a positive and significant relationship between ETHICS and INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL, but there is no significant relationship between INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL and ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE.
