Abstract

This paper examines the relationship between EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE with self- efficacy and MENTAL HEALTH in students. For this purpose, 249 students were randomly selected (115 SUCCESSFUL STUDENTS and 134 non- successful). The instruments of this study were Schutte EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE Scale sherer Self - efficacy scale and Goldenberg MENTAL HEALTH Scale. Results indicated that there is a significant relationship between EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE with SELF-EFFICACY and MENTAL HEALTH (P<0.01). Also, results showed that the men score of EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE, self- efficacy and MENTAL HEALTH in SUCCESSFUL STUDENTS is higher than non- successful (P<0.05).
