Abstract

The aim of this research is understanding relationship between CULTURE and ECONOMIC GROWTH with in international TOURISM. One of the factors to attract tourists is cultural factors. Cultural patterns of each society, affects initially on the willingness of citizens to TOURISM, in such a way that to create incentives for TOURISM outside the country, and then CULTURE operates On the other hand, TOURISM is one of the sources of income for many countries and it makes their ECONOMIC GROWTH. In this study, to investigate the factor of CULTURE, we used from Hofstede indicator that reflects CULTURE of. This study used data of 53 countries from four levels of the years 2000, 2005, 2011 and 2013, the latest data available. For each year, model was estimated separately and results are analyzed. The results indicate that CULTURE, TOURISM and ECONOMIC GROWTH are related. Results confirm that CULTURE factors are important factors in attract tourists.
