Abstract

The reasons for the importance of supply chain in the recent years are the increasing pace of technology change, the globalization of commerce, tendency to outsource, greater emphasis on quality, customer benefit and satisfaction, greater emphasis on customer relationship building and retention, emphasis on relationships development with suppliers, greater emphasis on managing business processes and integrating operations, the need to build strategic links and networks, as well as developing knowledge-based and technology-based economies. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of Supply chain participation on performance with the mediating role of value creation. This research is practical in terms of purpose and descriptive-surveying of correlation and modeling type in terms of method. The research population of this study consists of 280 managers, supervisors and experts of the organization. According to the research population being 280 employees, the required sample size is 162 people to determine the sample size using Cochran formula. The instrument for collecting data is a standard questionnaire that its reliability has been confirmed 0. 951 using Cronbach's alpha. Structural equation modeling technique has been used to analyze the collected data using Smart PLS software. Results show the mediating role of value creation on the impact of Supply chain participation on performance. Results also show that all components of Supply chain participation have a significant effect on performance.
