Abstract

The Islamic Revolution of Iran has always relied on the people to achieve its goals in all aspects. But in the international arena, this issue should not be realized as it should have been. This research aims to answer the question "What is the pattern of Iranian nation’ s international communication in interacting with international actors, in the viewpoint of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei? " And enumerating the dimensions of this pattern. Hence, the research data were accumulated by searching keywords within many speeches and messages by him, then analyzed by Grounded theory methodology. According to the Supreme leader, all Iranians have the responsibility of playing their role on the international arena. There are two strategies provided by Ayatollah Khamenei for Iranian global acting: Interpersonal communication and international communication. He has stated many principles for that, but considering his organized line of thought, we conclude the materialization of Islamic Civilization as the main strategy, and modeling of Iran (indirect approach) and the Revolution issuance (direct approach) as two main tactics for achieving the goals.
