Abstract

According to the rapid growth of URBANIZATION in Sardasht city, this study aims to investigative the extent of URBANISM of Sardasht city's dwellers and causes contributing it. From the DETERMINISM PERSPECTIVE, it is supposed that based on URBANIZATION increase in Sardasht, its dwellers have the URBANISM lifestyle, but it is not the same for all persons, and according to ECLECTIC PERSPECTIVE, the extent of dwellers URBANISM is different related to individual characteristics. For doing this research a survey method is used and the research findings indicate that most of people in Sardasht are in average level of URBANISM. Also, there is no limited number of people who have low URBANISM or in other words are urbanist no longer, and among people's characteristics, the age, living in village record and education level can properly explain the URBANISM changes. This study is worthy since its results are useful for determining the condition of one of significant variables of development like URBANIZATION and its consequences in Kurdish cities.
