Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to study the root of problems of science institution in today Iran, by referring to the historical period of entering new Western Sciences to this country, and an attempt for understanding the intellectuals' ideology of this time toward the new coming sciences phenomenon by use of Discourse Analysis methodology and according to Post-colonial theoretical framework. The findings show that the primitive way Intellectuals encountered the phenomenon, and the formed ideology have directed them to a way not to ask about the principles of NEW SCIENCES and the relation these sciences can create with traditionals. Also, paying attention to some sciences and ignoring some others, had an ideological bias. About HUMANITIES it should be said that the study of human beings wasn’t considered as the subject basically, and since the goals and roles of HUMANITIES were misunderstood, the HUMANITIES could not have been created in this era.
