A Study of the Nature Status in Hamidi’ s Chapters

Abstract

 Nature with its numerous manifestations has always been regarded as one of inspiring sources in verses and proses written by authors and poets. One can find few intellects who have not written about his or her natural environment. Nature, this glorious territory is an indicator of God’ s divine and eternal potent since the beginning. It has been always a source and well of art which has had its own specific manifestations in music, painting, poetry and other renowned and famous artistic works in various eras in Persian language and literature. It has not been restricted in a specific period for creating artistic works. however, the first manifestations of Nature in literary works can be seen in Khorasani style of poetry. Hamidi’ s Chapters is among Technical Prose works whose writer numerously pointed to natural elements. Seeking these elements show that with his unique and distinctive view towards the Nature, Ghazi Hamid Al-din not only views the Nature, but also he points to other fields. Ghazi Hamid Al-din Abu Bakr Omar Ibn Mahmoud Balkhi is one these poets, in whose poetry we can find Nature’ s manifestations. The present study, by employing content analysis and library research tries to analyze the Nature by studying the types of flowers, trees, Birds, Animals, etc. in Hamidi’ s Chapters. regarding his love for Nature, he has pointed specifically to the Nature in his prose and verse.
