Abstract

In this biblometric study all TRANSLATED BOOKS in the field of LIBRARY AND INFORMATION SCIENCE were surveyed based on Variables such as subject, language, author, country of original language, gender of the translators and publishers. Findings showed that most of TRANSLATED BOOKS belonged to Generalities. 23.7 Percent of such books were reprints, 60.4 Percent were translated individually, 94.7 Percent had been translated from English language, and 78.8 Percent originally came from USA and UK.
