Abstract

Backgrounds & Aims: Traumatic intracranial aneurysms are rare complications of head injury and represent less than 1% of all cerebral aneurysms. They most often are diagnosed acutely. Early identification and intervention to prevent bleeding or rebleeding is necessary.History: A case of a young man who developed a traumatic FALSE ANEURYSM of the PERICALLOSAL ARTERY after ROAD-TRAFFIC ACCIDENT is described. Fortunately, he managed successfully with a good outcome.Discussion: Cerebral angiography is recommended in head-injured patients with abnormal intracranial hemorrhages and can be useful in early diagnosis and treatment of such patients.
