Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the role of religious orientation and LIFE EXPECTANCY in LIFE SATISFACTION on college students. The Method of research was correlation and the statistical sample including 244 college students (164 girls and 80 boys) that were selected with available sampling through between all students in Shahid Beheshti University. Data collection tools, including questionnaires Allport Religious Orientation Scale, Snyder Hope Scale (SHS) and LIFE SATISFACTION was Taft. After collecting information the data was analyzed through the Pearson correlation and regression analysis.Results: The results showed that between INTERNAL RELIGIOUS ORIENTATION and LIFE EXPECTANCY at p<0.05 was significant. Between INTERNAL RELIGIOUS ORIENTATION and the subscale factory thinking the level of p<0.05 was significant and also between INTERNAL RELIGIOUS ORIENTATION and LIFE SATISFACTION at the level of p<0.05 was significant. But between EXTERNAL RELIGIOUS ORIENTATIONs, there was no significant relationship with any of the study variables.Conclusion: The results of the present study were to clarify that INTERNAL RELIGIOUS ORIENTATION and LIFE EXPECTANCY can to explain LIFE SATISFACTION.
