Abstract

The city of Marivan is one of the country's most visited destinations, which has many attractions and hosts many tourists from various parts of our country. Considering the large number of tourists entering this city, it is essential to examine the factors affecting their satisfaction. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to investigate the satisfaction of tourists visiting Marivan and the factors affecting it. The research method is applied in terms of the purpose of the study and descriptive-analytical in terms of its method. The data collection was done using both documentary and field studies. The statistical population of this study includes all tourists entering the city of Marivan who have stayed in the city for at least 24 hours. The sample included 200 tourists who were selected based on the research facilities, as well as the opinions of the professors and experts. The obtained data and information were analyzed using Excel software (for descriptive data (and the SPSS software was used to study the correlation between the variables. The results of the research indicate the high impact of factors such as urban facilities and services, social security, market and market practices on the satisfaction of tourists in the border towns of Marivan. Also, a significant relationship between tourists’ satisfaction with urban amenities and services, social security, marketers' actions was found with a correlation of 0. 730. 0. 772 and 0. 645, respectively which were all meaningful at p 0, 05 >level of probability. By improving these factors, the satisfaction of tourists while staying in the city will increase. Therefore, it is necessary to pay more attention to improving these factors in order to increase the satisfaction of tourists and their revisiting of the city.
