Abstract

Postmodernism is the disobedient child of modernism that has a critical dialectical relationship with it, based on the denial of rationalism and rejection of Essentialism, denial of the domination of science, and negation of Metanarrative, violation of certain duplications and deconstruction. In contrast to rationalism, Essentialism, Scientism, and the centralization of modernism, following the mental and intellectual crisis of civilized man arose in the West in the aftermath of the two world wars. The cultural and philosophical phenomenon in the communication era and through coexistence and peaceful and non-peaceful relations, the cultural and thought base in Islamic societies has entered, and many Islamic scholars have been influenced by it as a criterion for reading and evaluating texts. They put their intellectual heritage. The present study uses a descriptive-analytical method and, with the help of a philosophical critique, seeking to express the differences of thought and the challenges arising from the appearance of this flow in Adonis’ poetry in opposition to the thought of absolute, pious, and pyramid of Islamic foundation. The results of this study indicated that Adonis uses the postmodern critique method, to revisit the Islamic heritage. By eliminating the boundaries of poetry and philosophy and applying postmodern philosophical thought, regardless of The function of poetry in Islamic societies provides an inaudible poetry that is far from the Language, thought and culture of the Islamic Arab community.
