Abstract

During a study on the diversity and biology of fruit flies (Diptera: Tephritidae), attacking Asteraceae capitulum in the northwest of Iran (Pourhajiet al., 2016), the species Chromoplex picticollis (Thomson, 1887) (Hym.: Ichneumonidae, Campopleginae) was identified by M. Riedel. The specimen of C. picticollis is deposited in the private collection of M. Riedel, Zoologische Staatssammlung München, Münchhausenstr.21, 81247 Munich, Germany.
