Abstract

The aim of this study is the evaluation of boold levels of Cortisol and ACTH in diabetic patients. To do this, blood sugar, Cortisol and ACTH were measured in 100 normal individuals and 184 diabetic patients. Our findings indicate that blood concentration of cortisol and ACTH are greater than normal in diabetic patients, but in terms of these factors no significant differences are seen in diabetic patients with different levels of serum glucose. Normal values and other data of these factors are shown and discussed in this paper.
