Abstract

Physicians Believe that physical readiness is a proper Ground for obtaining Desirable mental condtions. On this Basis the Aim of This Reasearch Has Been compare MENTAL HEALTH of ATHLETE and NON-ATHLETE boy students in zahedan medical science university .In this discriptive analitical research, concerining the maximum ATHLETE people, 70 ATHLETE boy students Were selected. 70 NON-ATHLETE students having the same demographic conditions of ATHLETEs were selected from the students of zahedan medical sciences university by the way of personal similarization. The mean age of the boy students in this study was 24/24 yaers. MENTAL HEALTH of the selected students was considered arid compared by the use of general health questionnaire including 28 questions (GHQ-28). The results showed that there is a meaningful difference among MENTAL HEALTH of ATHLETE and non ATHLETE boy students. The mean rate of MENTAL HEALTH of ATHLETE in this study was (X1=16.13) and NON-ATHLETE was (X2=28.700).The observed difference was meaninigful in Level (p<0.05) and has shown the better situation of MENTAL HEALTH of ATHLETE boys incomparing with NON-ATHLETE.
