Abstract

 Tourism industry has now become one of the world's largest industries, but Iran's contributions are very limited, despite its extensive attractions for TOURISM development. Today, the development of TOURISM is considered as an alternative to the country's highly crude oil exporting dependent economy.Application of models in planning is a prerequisite for the development of the industry. This paper analyses the spatial model, as a true test of the debate and concludes that it has a high feasibility for TOURISM planning in Iran. Its application limits the disintegration of the industry's spatial development.
