Abstract

The purpose of this research was to prepare a SCALE to measure the RELIGIOUS ATTITUDEs and beliefs of STUDENTs of Sharif University. A total of 52 questions related to religious beliefs have been developed based on Islamic literature. Then, two pilot studies were conducted prior to the final administration of the SCALE. Eventually, a questionnaire with 40 multiple-choice items and 7 self-reported religiosity attitude measures was prepared. The final version of the SCALE was given to 369 STUDENTs of Sharif University, 235 religious STUDENTs in Qom, and 83 STUDENTs of Fine Arts at the University of Tehran, in order to examine the validity of the questionnaire. At the end, applications and limitations of this research have also been discussed.
