Abstract

Introduction: Education as a pre-determined process to cause new behavioral changes demands a major concern. The authorities are putting a great effort to increase the quality of education, but whether this has been achieved or not, we have tried to seek the opinions.Methods: 413 tutors and students from Hamadan, Kermanshah, Booshehr and Ahwaz universities, randomly were selected and filled out the pre-determined content validity – questionnaire. The data was analyzed through a descriptive statistic method.Results: 65.5% tutors, 87% students evaluated the education quality as "moderate". 7% students, %27.5 tutors as "good" and 7% of the two groups as "weak". 72.5% students and 85% tutors believed that the motivations and interests in leaning were "weaker than before" and respectively complained of the following factors: 1) Ambiguous job future (53.5% tutors, 50% students), 2)Insufficient student selection (57% tutors, 46.6% students), 3)Passivity in new generation (40% tutors, 43.5%students), 4)Administrative program problems (50% tutors, 50% students) , 5)Loss of proper samples in teachers (23.5% tutors, 46.5% students) 6)Difficult entrance university exam (16.5% tutors, 40% student) Conclusion. In spite of all efforts put forward, an urgent care for a less defected condition in educational aspects of the medical universities seems urgent.
