Abstract

We report a case of LEIOMYOMA of the female URETHRA and review the literature. A mass protruding from the URETHRAl meatus caused frequency, nocturia, and weak stream. Cystourethroscopy showed a tumor that extended from URETHRAl meatus to 2cm proximal into URETHRAl. The tumor was excised completely. Histopathological studies confirmed URETHRAl LEIOMYOMA. Surgery completely resolved the original symptoms.
