Abstract

Customer rating and prediction probability of default (PD) is one of the most important principles of risk management in the banks and financial institutions. It provides an instrument for efficient decision making related to loans and credits granting process.This article discusses the one of the rating methods by Logit regression models in the form of 2-level and 3-level using corporate financial ratios. Results express that 75% and 70% of customers are classified appropriately by 2-level and 3-level method consequently.
