Abstract

The purpose of the present study is to investigate the satisfaction of clients of the counseling centers of Welfare Organization, their opinion about dimensions and edficiencies in the centers and give pieces of advice in order to promote their qualifications. The subjects were 898 men and women randomly selected from counseling centers of 27 provinces. The research tool is a questionnaire measuring the accessibility to counseling centers, awareness of types of services, and satisfaction of professional and non-professional services. Datas were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results show that clients are satisfied with the accessibility to the centers. Most of them are not aware of group counseling and family education courses, and clients arc satisfied with the services given by counseling centers. Although there are limitations in counseling centers, however they could almost satisfy the clients needs.
