Abstract

The present study aim to compare Gardner MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES between SUCCESSFUL AND UNSUCCESSFUL STUDENTS. A casual comparative research was used. The statistical community consists of all of the students of HIGH SCHOOLs of Marivan. 370 students were selected randomly from community of HIGH SCHOOL students by multiple stage cluster sampling method. 200 students were male and 170 students were female, 174 students were successful students and 196 unsuccessful. Gardner MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES Test was Administered. Selected Data was analyzed by one-way ANOVA, scheffe method, t students test, Pearson correlationand step by step regression analysis.Findings showed that SUCCESSFUL AND UNSUCCESSFUL STUDENTS were significantly different in visual-spatial intelligence, verbal-linguistic, logical-mathematical, bodily-kinestic and intrapersonal. Result of t student test showed that logical-mathematical intelligence and bodily-kinetic of girls and boys are significantly different Boys got high scores in this two intelligence items. Also result of Pearson correlation of general intelligence and MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES showed significant relation among general intelligence, logical-mathematical intelligences, verbal-linguistic and bodily-kinetic. Result of the step by step regression analysis showed that logical-mathematical intelligence in making clear and predict change in general intelligence has the highest effect. Finally, result of singlet sample test showed that successful students have the highest logical-mathematical and verbal-linguistic intelligence. Conclusion the highest diference between SUCCESSFUL AND UNSUCCESSFUL STUDENTS is in verbal-linguistic and logical-mathematical intelligences. It is possible to suggest to the authorities in educational training programs to other MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES of unsuccessful students.
