Abstract

The present research aims to study the correlation between EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE and it subtests with MARITAL SATISFACTION in married staff. Statistical population is composed of Fajr hospital's married couples in 1385. The Sample consisted of 177 participants. Research instrument consisted of Cyberia Shrink EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE questionnaire and Hudson MARITAL SATISFACTION questionnaire. The results of Peirson correlation indicated that there is significant correlation between EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE and MARITAL SATISFACTION. Also, there is significant correlation between SELF-AWARENESS, EMPATHY, self-monitoring and SOCIAL SKILLS with MARITAL SATISFACTION. There is not any significant correlation between self-motivation and MARITAL SATISFACTION.
