Abstract

This research has been done for investigating the relationship between religiosity and marital satisfaction. The purpose of this research was studying the effect of some factors on marital satisfaction. The design of this research was descriptive. Statistical society was formed from the all of Tehranian's couples. The sample consisted of 100 couple were selected cluster random sampling. Research instruments consist of Allport's Religious Orientation Scale (AROS), Mabad and Enrich questionnaires. In order to data analysis was used Pearson correlation -coefficient, ANOVA, T, chi square tests. The results indicated that: -There is a significant correlation between intrinsic religious orientation and practicing religious believes and marital satisfaction. -There isn't any significant correlation between extrinsic religious orientation and marital satisfaction. - Education variable significant effect on religious orientation and practicing religious believes. - Gender variable hasn't any significant effect on religious orientation and practicing religious believes.
