Abstract

As regards the COMMERCIALIZATION of research one of the main mission's universities has been acceptedin addition to education and research, present research was performed with the aim of developing a comprehensive model for the COMMERCIALIZATION of university research. To answer the research question, the literature of subject reviewed with exploratory and comparative approach and the mostimportant factors were recognized that affecting the COMMERCIALIZATION of research. Then, using the Tri-Category theory (3Cs), each of the factors based on the characteristics of the three categories; context, co-structural and content classified and conceptual framework was developed. The conceptual framework is validated by collecting empirical data and STRUCTURAL EQUATION MODELING method. Based on the study findings and the values of the path coefficients in the final research model, the context factors 34.4 percent, 21.5 percent and STRUCTURAL 34.7 Percentage change of variable commercialize directly explain. Also, context variable is effective indirectly through mediator STRUCTURAL factors of 14.8 and through the mediating variable on the dependent variable COMMERCIALIZATION of content at a rate of 16.7 percent. Calculation and analysis of fitness indicators using Smart-PLS software, confirmed adaptation of conceptual framework and empirical data.
