Abstract

Patients’ satisfaction is a dominant concept in MEDICAL CARE. Any organization providing a product or services is expected to receive feedback from it’s clients so as to determine the defects and design reformative measures. It is not only considered to enhance the patients’ commitments in following medical prescriptions; but also, it is regarded as one of the consequences of the system to achieve it. This cross- sectional study involved 914 patients hospitalized in different wards of Mobini, Embad, and 160-bed hospitals in SABZEVAR; they were given a standardized questionnaire including open and closed questions on their satisfaction from the services provided for them. Data analysis was done through Spearman correlation coefficient and Mann Whitney-U tests. Results indicated that the highest correlation negatively existed between age and satisfaction from emergency and nursing staff. Women expressed higher satisfaction, than men, from emergency, nursing staff, reception, nutrition and clothing.
